Order Information
- Purpose of collection: to provide products or services to you to fulfill our contract, to process your payment information, arrange for shipping, and provide you with invoices and/or order confirmations, communicate with you, screen our orders for potential risk or fraud, and when in line with the preferences you have shared with us, provide you with information or advertising relating to our products or services.

- Personal Information collected: name, billing address, shipping address, payment information (including credit card numbers), email address, and phone number.
Minors
The Site is not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not intentionally collect Personal Information from children. If you are the parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with Personal Information, please contact us at the address above to request deletion.
Sharing Personal Information
We share your Personal Information with service providers to help us provide our services and fulfill our contracts with you, as described above. For example:

Our processor Shopify uses limited automated decision-making to prevent fraud that does not have a legal or otherwise significant effect on you.
Services that include elements of automated decision-making include:
- Temporary blacklist of IP addresses associated with repeated failed transactions. This blacklist persists for a small number of hours.
- Temporary blacklist of credit cards associated with blacklisted IP addresses. This blacklist persists for a small number of days.

Your Personal Information will be initially processed in Ireland and then will be transferred outside of Europe for storage and further processing, including to Canada and the United States. Shipping
In-Store Pickup
Orders placed for in-store Pickup will be fulfilled within 48 hours, and will be available for pickup during The Shoppe business hours. You will receive a notification when your order is ready for pickup.
Local Delivery
Local Delivery is available in Edmonton, St. Albert and Sherwood Park for a flat rate of $25.00. Orders placed for Local Delivery will be fulfilled within 48 hours.
You will need to be home to receive your parcel. Please add available delivery dates and times into ‘Add Order Note’ before checkout.
Domestic and International Shipping
We ship throughout Canada and The United States, as well as internationally. All domestic and international shipping is by Canada Post. Shipping rates are calculated based on the shipping destination, as well as the weight and dimensions of the items being shipped. Delivery timelines are determined by Canada Post, and as such are out of our control.
Furniture and Oversized Items
There is a flat rate of $200 for furniture items delivered in Alberta. We will contact you after your purchase to arrange delivery. This is a white glove service which includes in home placement of your items, as well as removal of any packaging. They do not hang art or install light fixtures. Please note, this service does not include removal of any existing furniture. Please ensure your space is ready for your items to be received and placed prior to the arranged delivery time, and that you have ensured the item is the correct size and weight for your space.
Furniture items are final sale. If you have any questions, please contact us before you complete your purchase and we will be happy to advise.
To order oversized items elsewhere in Canada or in The United States, please contact us at theshoppe@stephensonhouse.co. Delivery rates will be determined based on your shipping address, as well as the weight and dimensions of the items being delivered.
Damages and Issues
Our return policy takes effect upon delivery. Please inspect your items thoroughly once they arrive, and contact us at theshoppe@stephensonhouse.co on the rare occasion that your parcel arrives damaged. Please save all packaging in any instance of damages, as we will require photographs of both the damaged items, as well as the packaging they arrived in.
Return Policy
We have a 10-day return and exchange policy. Please see below for exceptions.
In-Store Purchases
Contact us or return to the store within 10 days of your purchase to proceed with a return or exchange.
Online Purchases
You have 10 days after receiving your item to request a return. Please see our guideline below on how to proceed with returning your items.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You will also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
To start a return for an item purchased online or if you have any return inquiries, please contact us at theshoppe@stephensonhouse.co. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Shipping costs are non-refundable. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
Online Exchanges
Please first return the original item following our online return policy. Once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item. We have a 10-day return policy.
Damages and Issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective or damaged so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / Non-returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned or exchanged: books, gift cards, sale items, perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), all linens (blankets, bedding, bath and table linens), all lighting (table, floor, ceiling, or wall), all artwork (including custom, sourced, or re-framed), large furniture items (such as beds, chairs, couches, or tables), candles and cosmetic goods (such as hand soap or lotion). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, such as flammable liquids. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about a specific item.

Refunds
