Hangai Mountain Textiles was born from a deep love for the Mongolian highlands and a desire to preserve its centuries-old traditions in a modern, sustainable way. Founded by a family team based in Basalt, Colorado, the brand was inspired by years spent living and working in Mongolia, where they developed close relationships with nomadic herders and artisan cooperatives. This connection sparked a mission to create exquisitely crafted home textiles using some of the world’s rarest and softest natural fibers—like hand-combed yak down, baby camel, and cashmere—while supporting ethical, fair-trade production.

Every piece is designed in Colorado and made entirely in Mongolia using traditional knitting and weaving techniques.
